We are excited to announce the first speaker of the Dent-X Congress, Prof. Dr. Silviu Mirel Pițuru, The President of the College of Dentists in Bucharest, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs within the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest and the Head of the Department of Organisation, Professional Legislation and Dental Office Management from the Faculty of Dental Medicine.

We are honored to introduce Dr. Cristian Rotaru who graduated from both the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" from Bucharest.

He attained the title of Oro-Maxillo-Facial surgeon specialist in 2014 and he is currently specializing in oral surgery, including dental implants, bone additions, interventions on soft tissues and orthognathic surgery.

It is with special excitement that we are pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Andreea Didilescu. Andreea Didilescu is a Professor, Division of Embryology, and the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania. In 2014, she completed her Habilitation in Dental Medicine at the same University.

She holds a Certificate of completion in one-year Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program (Harvard Medical School, USA), PhD in Medicine (University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Craiova, Romania), MPhil in Oral Microbiology (University of Bergen, Norway), MSc in Endodontics (Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy), being consultant in General Dentistry. Her current research interests are focused on dentin-pulp complex, biomaterials, and salivary research.

We are delighted to share with you that Dr. Cristina Rizea is joining Dent-X Congress!

Dr. Cristina Rizea graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in 2011, then pursued the 3 years Prosthodontics Specialty Programme of the same university, leading to the title of 'Specialist in Prosthetics' in 2014. In 2018, she finished her Ph.D. studies and received the Doctor in Medical Sciences title.

Starting 2018, Dr. Cristina Rizea teaches the Prosthetics module of the Orthodontics Master of Universidad de Extremadura in Spain. She was the Editor and then the General Secretary of the European Dental Students' Association (EDSA), the vice-president of the Dental Medicine Students' League (LSMDB) in Bucharest.

In 2013 she Co-Founded Dexellence and in 2017 she Co-Founded Dexellence Clinic, where she is currently working as a Prosthodontist and Treatment Coordinator.

Ph.D. in Medicine and member of the professional associations: ICP (International College of Prosthodontists), EPA (European Prosthodontic
Association) and AFDE (Association Francaise de Dentisterie Esthetique), Dr. Imre teaches the Total Prosthesis discipline at the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. She has taken part in numerous studies and conferences that were held not only in Romania but also abroad.

Despite her university career, she was also involved in publishing and scientific events, as the sole author of the book "Profile teleradiography in the therapy of total edentulous" and as the co-author of 7 other publications.

We are pleased to announce the presence at the Dent-X Congress of the Associate Professor Ana-Maria Tâncu M.D, Ph.D..

Doctor of Dental Medicine since 2005, Ana Maria Tâncu is a specialist in Dental Prosthetics and General Dentistry, holding the position of University Lecturer in the Discipline of Total Prosthodontics at the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest, as well as the position of Vice-Dean for European and International Cooperation at Faculty of Dentistry.

We are delighted to introduce Dr. Enrico Cassai, who graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at University of Ferrara in 1999.

He is an active member of the Italian Society of Endodontology (SIE) and the Italian Association of Microscopic Dentistry (AIOM), and also an associate member of the American Association of Endodontists
(AAE) and European Society of Endodontology (ESE).

Dr. Cassai lectured in courses and conventions both in Italy and abroad as lecturer and he is the author of several publications on international scientific journals.
Lastly, Dr. Enrico Cassai works in private practice in Ferrara, particularly committed to clinical endodontics, microscopic surgery and aesthetic restorative dentistry.
