Registering to Our Amazing Lecture Competition

Go traditional and sing-up with your abstract in our Clinal or Preclinical section.

The Clinical & Preclinical section is the traditional lecture format seen in such lecture competitions. Students come forward with ideas and innovations in their field of interest.

Anyone fascinated about science is invited to participate. We are more than excited to see you join the competition and come to our congress as an active participant.

Abstract Size

It must fit within the maximum limit of 250 words.

Authors

Don't forget to mention the authors and co-authors, which can be a maximum of 5.

Qualifications

Sections

The summary must include the following sections: Introduction, Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussions, Conclusion and Key-words (3-5)

Time Limit

The maximum oral presentation time is 8-10 minutes. Don't forget to time yourself before presenting and try as hard as you can to respect this limit.

Allowed Participants

1st year to 6th year students and graduates of the Class of 2022 can participate

Race against the clock with our Pecha Kucha presentations competition.

The format of Pecha Kucha involves a presentation of 20 slides, each one lasting for 20 seconds. Any topic that attracts the attention of students can be approached.

We offer participants this category in order to encourage them to deliver a speech in the form of a scientific lecture and thus gain experience.

The powerpoint presentation must have only 20 slides, with only 20 seconds of commentary per slide.

The presentation can cover any theme you want.

Get creative and combine it with science in our Scientific Poster exhibition.

If you have a soul divided between science and art, this section from out lecture competition is the right one for you.

Finish your abstract and transform it into a poster to show at our congress. Be confident and don’t be afraid to experiment.

Program & Template

Choose your favorite program to work in (some examples include Power Point, Publisher etc.). Create a new template or use one already made. Choose a complementary color palette!

Sizes & Format

Use the right font and size for your content: The title is very important (96 pts) followed by subtitles and paragraphs. Center the title and highlight it! Mention the authors and bibliographic references immediately under the title.

Logos

Use logos on the opposite side of the title (Dent-X Congress logoClick Here, and your university’s logo).

Included Text

Don’t mention the entire text of your article as if you are going to publish it in the abstract book. Don’t forget the 40/40/20 rule: 40% images and tables, 40% free space, 20% text.

Sections

Order the paragraphs in a chronological and easy-to-follow way (Introduction, Purpose, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussions, Conclusion).
